  The 3 micro elements I am choosing are 

  • Sound
  • Mise en scene
  • Cinematography 

And the scene is at the end of space jam where Michael Jordan returns from Looney Tunes to play his baseball game,the sound in this scene is a song named “I believe I can fly” which was Made for the film and was a big Success, when listening to it,it shows that Michael Jordan never gave up on his dream and all ways pushed forward through hard times even when the going got tough he still stood strong, it also makes you feel like you can achieve the impossible, well like you could fly,the mise on scene of the stadium that Michael Jordan’s family is in is at first very dark with everyone been very unhappy that the game isn’t starting but when Michael shows up there is a huge flood of light with everyone out of there seat smiling and waving,with there been a massive spacecraft in the middle of the field with Michael walking out of it in the centre to show that he is what you should be focused on,the cinematography in the last scene is very focused on Jordan, his family and his team with there been a very wide angle shot of the Alain frame to show that they are all United.

Analysis of looper (2012) mise en scene

  For anyone who does not know what mise en scene is, it is when you look at a certain shoot or scene in a film and look at all the details like lighting, body movement,facial expressions, sets,props,costume,makeup literally everything and talk about why that is there and what effect that has on the viewer.
So now you know what it means I will do a mise en scene of the movie poster for the film looper which might I add is a superb film and is definitely worth a watch,the things that stand out to me the most are the editing of the poster and the positions the two main characters are in, the editing done had made it seem that it is set in a dirty rundown place that is not very clean and the way the characters are stood along with the text next to them tells me that the two characters are connected, maybe related or is the text hinting at them been the same person?

Review of Star Wars a new hope (1977)

  This film is a classic with a massive universe spanning multiple films, books, tv series and a huge toy line, Star Wars a new hope is set in a galaxy far far away where a young Luke Skywalker joins the rebel alliance to defeat the evil empire accompanied by princess leia, Ben kenobi and Han Solo, any film that even mentions the word space has me hooked but Star Wars goes above and beyond with its story driven plot which will always have you questioning “what will happened next”, with the success of the first three Star Wars films (not the new three directed by George Lucas’s because they where… Well terribly) they are releasing the new one Star Wars the force awakens this december ,the film is renowned for it’s use in practical effect with them hardly using any CGI, the actors did a incredable performance in the film with Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker,Star Wars a new hope was the first in series to be made but was the fours chronologically in the series, so I would give his film a 9/10

Review of the jersey boys (2014)

    This film is easily one of my all time favourite movies, it is a must see for any person who likes music, the director Clint Eastwood perfectly portrays the four seasons musical group with a realistic vibe, the actors who did the stage play first are not very well known, but that does not take away from the experience, there is surprisingly Christopher walken playing a mob boss.

The film goes like follows, frankie valli ( the star of the story ) is a singer in 1951 who has a incredible voice eventually him,Tommy davito and two other men create a group called the four seasons, this group last a very long time with them making numerous number ones and a lot of money but it does not last forever , Tommy has been in a lot of debt, half a million dollars to be exact, with the group now split with frankie taking his debt, he is constantly working to pay the debt off, frankie did eventually pay the debt but also lost one of his daughters, Mary to a drug overdose, the group come back together in 1977 when they are put into the Rock and roll hall of fame.
The best thing I like about this film is that the music is amazing with the actors actually singing and performing I could watch this film every week and still be immersed in the story.
This film is easily a 10/10
